The rare Blue Bunting as well as a female Painted Bunting continue at
Frontera Audubon. I got a couple of good pics of the Painted Bunting plus
new (and better) pics of the Blue Bunting from spotting it foraging today
that I have uploaded to my Birds and Nature blog.

one ok pic of a Northern Parula from Frontera Audubon and poor pics of a
Zone-tailed Hawk on my blog. I also saw a Northern Beardless-Tyrrannulet
and a Black-throated Green Warbler there but did not get pics.
The Crimson-collared Grosbeak continues at Frontera but it's evading me.
The Valley Nature Center also in Weslaco has a Red-crowned Parrot roosting
in a nest box as well as an Eastern Screech Owl in the other nest box. I
got a couple of very good pics of the parrot that are on my Birds and
