Dear Texbirders, The bird walks at Blucher Park continued today with 17 visitors, including two ladies from Michigan. The group had 45 species including nine species of warblers. The migrants are taking advantage of the southeast winds to depart, and were harder to find this morning, but the results were pretty good for this early in the month. Thanks to Jo and Bob Creglow for hosting. The highlights include: Chuck-Will's-Widow Great-crested Flycatcher Brown-crested Flycatcher Couch's Kingbird White-eyed Vireo Blue-headed Vireo House Wren (somewhat late) Long-billed Thrasher Orange-crowned Warbler Tennessee Warbler Nashville Warbler Northern Parula Black-and-White Warbler Ovenbird Common Yellowthroat Hooded Warbler Yellow-breasted Chat Summer Tanager Indigo Bunting Bronzed Cowbird Orchard Oriole Larry Jordan Corpus Christi Edit your Freelists account settings for TEXBIRDS at //www.freelists.org/list/texbirds Reposting of traffic from TEXBIRDS is prohibited without seeking permission from the List Owner
