Dear Texbirders,
The Blucher Park Bird Walks concluded today with something of a bang. The
birding started slow, but picked up quite a bit later in the morning.
We finished with 16 species of warblers (including Blackpoll) and 59 species
overall. The bird of the day was a Groove-billed Ani. These have occurred
occasionally in the park, but this was the first to show up on one of the April
walks.
Thanks to Bob Creglow, Mabel Byrnes and Judith Reader for hosting.
