We've got a ninja female cardinal that appears to be a few bricks shy of a full
load. She is currently sitting outside my home office window where I have
planted some wax myrtles. For the last 20/30 minutes she has been making her
way to the top of the plant (about half way up the window) and then launches
herself into the window panes. We've observed this behavior at other windows
around the house. Every now and then she'll take a breather for a few minutes
to clear her head before starting up again.

The window is divided into 6 rows of panes, 3 panes per row, with each
individual pane around 10"w x 16"h. We haven't observed her trying to fly into
the lower half of the window which is screened. Oops - she just did......

Just curious if anyone else has observed this type of behavior. Einstein's
quote about insanity: "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting
different results" comes to mind.

Thanks,
