.. Finished Up the Oct. post fire sureveys this morning finding nothing of note except a pretty Y. B. Sapsucker and LOTS of bluebirds...In all very slow but I did the final points and left without spending any extra time there. Scaup or Redheads ~40 flying over southbound at dawn. D. C. Cormorants ~40 flyovers Then went to Colorado River Refuge south of town for a few hours...Still pretty slow but better Green Heron 1 (latish) Bald Eagle flyover 1 Solitary Sand. 1 Greater Yellowlegs 1 Green Kingfisher 1 Pileated Wood. and 2 Sapsucker species. Couch's Kingbird 1 (heard only from across the river) Blue-headed Vireo 1 Brown Thrasher 1 Wilson's Warbler 1 Nashville Warblers 2 Probable waterthrush 1, heard only Quite a few sparrows including Swamp Common Grackles ~25 as flyovers.
