Here in Harris County, I heard one calling last May 1st, at 4:50 am a block
away from my house. I am located in west Houston in a wooded neighborhood
near Terry Hershey Park. That would be about 3 hours before sunrise.

Last, best habitat? My quickest access is to closed-canopy Golden-cheeked
Warbler habitat, but maybe more open locations are better?
