Hello All!
This is the weekly Teen Net Update for regular participants in our net.
Net Information:
Next Net: Sunday, April 21, 2002 @ 8:30 PM, 146.880 MHz
Net Control Station: To Be Announced
Topic: Public Service Activities
"Catch" Line: Springtime is a busy time for Public Service. There are
events occuring almost every weekend from the end of April through July. We
will disucss these events, why amateur radio is needed, and how you can
participate.
Background Information:
The way we're going to do this net, is ask various stations that are actively
involved in public service, for event information and how you can
participate. They can discuss why we are needed, and I will announce the web
site (where you can find additional information). Since we don't know who
might check-in, Net Control Station for this week can call me (KB3GIO) and I
will make an announcement, and then see who else wants to make comments on
this topic. Then we can take questions, etc. If I can't make the net,
contact someone like Bill (N3BPB) or Frank (N3OIA), who regularly
participate, and know a lot about public service.
