Phil:

The convergence power supply output 4 voltages, and I have seen the Ic fail.

As for the eeprom, this set has a separate convergence eeprom and you 
don't want to do a complete alignment.  I have never seen the 
convergence eeprom bad.

With no power supply on the convergence board the menu choice under 
screen for "adjust projection tv" will not be there and you will of 
course not have any convergence correction nor will you be able to do 
any convergence adjustments.

The service adjustments for convergence are on parameter/value 80.
