Gary - that control board should come out after removing 2 or 3 screws
frim the back. It should also have a part # on it.
I have some of he old control boards if you find the #.

I have this Zenith TV SD5729W with module 9-519-1. The touch pad inside
the pull down door on the front doesn't work. Set won't start and none
of the buttons work. I can operate the set with a universal remote
although it seemed like I could only raise the volume a bit and max.
level is low.
Customer said that someone let water run into TV. He wasn't sure if it
was down the face of the tube or not. I haven't seen any sign of water
in the set.
Is there any way to clean the keypad contacts? If so, how do you even
remove the door to work at it or take the keypad apart? Or is there more
likely a problem on the board leading to the micro?
