[TechAssist] Wireless Router Extender

Anyone have any idea if it's possible to extend the range of a D-Link
wireless router. My shop is 30 feet away from my Router, but has 2
brick walls to contend with. I get no signal in the shop at all. On the
Mac Laptop. Yet works great anywhere else in the house. Could I extend
the little antenna on the router to have it outside on a bracket maybe,
with a coaxial lead. This thing runs at 2.4 gig, so I'm not sure what
the loading restrictions are. Radio Shack has a Repeater, but I don't
want to spend another $130, which was the price of the Router.
