[TechAssist] Using manuracturer's logos in advertising

I have an ad in the yellow pages with a projection TV that has the major
TV brands and their logos listed within the picture. One of the
warranty shops in town just informed me that I am breaking the law
because I don't do any of the warranties and could be sued by any of the
manufacturers. How do I find out if this is true or if he is just
blowing smoke...?
