LeRoy,
Is it still bowed?
Is it possible the ring magnets got bumped?
Also, be sure you have the connector plugged into the correct plug. It goes to
the large signal board with
all the large cans on it. n some of these, there is another connector it will
fit into and could be your
problem.
Did you check the 110k and 82k resistors...change no matter how they test.

bottom, and sides, and

Hi Avery, and All;
Mine is using 3 of the STK391-020 on the Convergence Amp module.
I replaced them, and NO help. All the 1 ohm resistors are OK.
All my + and - voltages (+26, -26, and + 16) to both the output board, and
the registration board are all present. The 110K and the 82K ohm resistors
(R3243, and R3244) on the SMPS board are also OK.

I been trying to do a complete convergence alignment, but it's starting to
drive me crazy. All the controls on the registration board seem to work
normal, but, I'll be damned if I can swing them all into place. I am usually
pretty good at performimg dynamic convergence, but,...not this time, so
there may still be a bad componant somewhere. I even tried centering all the
controls, and starting over again. I can get it fairly close, but not close
enough to be anywhere near acceptable.

One more clue: When I adjust any ( Red, Green, or Blue) of the G-2 screen
controls, the vertical retrace line near the bottom of the screen has a
nasty 1/2 inch glitch in it. Might have something to do with the problem,
but I'm not sure where to look. Maybe a bad e-cap somewhere.

Thanks, anyway,
LLW
