[TechAssist] Re: Toshiba VCR M-684C doesn't record channel pre-programmed in.

I believe I have this channel problem figured out. Turned out that the
channels needed to be autoprogrammed into memory, then when I set the
timer to record, it did record the channel I had it set for. I must have
missed going channel up/down to tune in stations, but thanks to a couple
of techs replies, it reminded me. I normally use direct enter because I
only get a handful of channels on the antenna. Only thing is, I don't
know yet if the VCR has a problem with losing it's auto-programmed
channel memory. Is it normal for these models to lose the channel memory
with a short loss of AC power, or does it take a prolonged period of
time? I will try the unit out one more time after being unplugged,
before I send it home.
