I dont remember which hyper boards specifically but--there were some that got bad connections on the connecter assy to the hyper board itself. The best thing is to have a very tiny tip for the iron to do it. Hakko make a really nice tiny chisel tip that works good. I personally havent had many (one ore two) and none for about a year, but had a report form a tech in a different market that was deluged with them and he reported a 75% (approx) success ratio.
