The last time I talked to Hitachi tech support, there was no question. 
Something was going to replaced. Either the driver board or the light eng. This 
was several months ago. They must have changed their minds since then. One 
other determining factor for me was the distance for the service call. 200 mi 
round trip.

Sounds like Hitachi tech support contradicts the bulletin or the 
bulletin does not say what it means. I'm still not sure but called it 
fixed till further notice.
