[TechAssist] Sony KV27S42 picture shifts after 3 sec of on time then HV and filimets die

Set turns on with normal picture then after 3 sec the picture
shifts to the left, darkens and after about 5 sec the HV and filiments die
then the set shuts down. Seems like a horizontal phase shift but so far
thermal cycling hasn't revealed anything. Sound familiar to any one?
