Not sure about the TRV's,but the FX models had terrible solder problems with the Connectors that interconnect the PCB's(both sides). Also,there were a couple of SM IC's that would get bad connections, IC503 and IC505 I think.With a Dental Pick between each pin(s) and a magnifier,you could see the ones that were loose,they would move.
