[TechAssist] Sony CCD-TRV37 syscon problem

Strange intermittant problems! May show full battery symbol and indicate low
battery at the same time. Power may turn itself on with the power switch in
the off position and run the battery down. Sony told customer it was a
battery problem. Does same thing with a new battery.
Been getting a lot of phone calls with similar complaints. Anyone have a
handle on this problem or should I just tell the customer this is a job for
factory service?
