Anthony, We do very few monitors, so this is just a guess. I think you will find the object to which you refer is a VDR used for degauss. Sony TV's have trouble with those. To test, unplug the degauss coil and replace the fuse. BTW, there is a good chance that that fuse is a time-delay fuse. May be the only trouble is the wrong fuse installed.
