Well, I reset the TV and now the set is working normally. One thing I could have done was copied down the parameters for the geometry and especially the drives and screens before I reset the TV. My question now is, what caused the eeprom to get corrupted in the first place? Do I need to replace it? It does not matter what the starting channel was. I went into the menu and turned on the speaker and got some audio, but with the same symptoms. Anybody seen this oddball problem before? Thanks.
