Any indication from the UL code/FCC ID on who made it and a year?   (is it 
one of the samsung made units with the plug in PS that the non polar 22uf 
goes bad in)

Warren,

Had a VR330 a few years ago that I have a tip written down for---Accepts
tape,but no functions work, after several seconds tape ejects, also tuner
video is distorted. Fix was to replace C102(330m-35v) in 20v supply in power
supply.
