Look around the anode connector for signs of coolant.  99 out of 100 the CRT
is leaking coolant and that is what started the arcing till it burnt through
the connector.  It will be wet looking around the connector & if you feel it
it feels just like automotive antifreeze.
There may be a kit with a new seal for that particular CRT, if not need a
new CRT.
