Have an RCA CC030 video camera that keeps blowing fuses. Bypassed
fuse and audio works, color view finder lights up, but no picture,
thin lines on bottom. Normally when camera powers up focus motors
run and you can hear them. Can't hear the focus motors running. There
is an internal relay that flips whenever camera is given power regardless
of on/off switch. It should only flip when swicth is on.

My thinking is focus motor(s) are frozen. Before I take the beast
apart, any suggestions?

Also could use advise on taking lens / focus motors / CCD apart?

Camera worked prior to sitting for a long time (2 years).

thanks
