Bob,
For the set that keeps shutting off,check for cold solder
connections on the pincushion board..I had three with the same problem.It is
a highly intermittent condition.
I ended up soldering complete board and hard-wireing the cable at connector
BL103.So far, the sets have been in the field for about two months.
