I concur with your findings. Both the parts list in the ESI Automan program
and RCA Parts Finder show it to be a 910 ohm resistor, part# 256743 but the
schematic does show it as a 15K which is what was in the set. I did not have
a 910 ohm surface mount, so I have just temporarily installed a 910 ohm, 1/2
watt flameproof. I will let it run around the clock until at least Monday
and let you know how I make out. Please let me know what the Thomson reply
is to your request.

Also, the other set I have of this same model that was shutting down after
warm is still running great after replacing the flyback!
