[TechAssist] Quaser Vcr model VHS145XQ intermittent play/record

Quaser Vcr Model VHS145XQ
This Vcr will randomly stops playing/recording, it may play for hours, or play
for a few minutes. The SMPS voltages seem to be within acceptable range. The
Vcr passes the hard rap test and none of power supply components are running
warm/hot. I don't have a service manual for this unit.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
