Hi Jeff, Thanks for the info. No, I hadn't received it yet, it will get here today though. Actually, my thought was the zener also, but I wasn't having a shutdown problem. The set would quit responding to the original remote control after on a while. So I ordered and replaced the IR sensor and the zener diode on the SSB. I thought that had repaired it, but after I left it on a while, it wouldn't respond to any functions on the remote. I received an email a while back that the SSB could cause that.
