The only reason you might want to ventilate is if you are washing a board very heavily with it. Other than that--small areas and cleaning heads---you can't even smell it. Its in every hardware store on the shelf, and yes--it works much better than alchohol for cleaning boards. I also use it for cleaning remote control keypads, after I wash it with soapy water to get rid of the beer----very lightly--and quickly--with a swap dipped in it. If you're looking to catch a buzz and cause liver damage---get some MEK. It cleans extremly well---but the smell!! ooooweeee. That'll make ya dizzy in a few seconds. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Al L" <alleathe@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, June 15, 2003 10:23 AM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Paper towles for cleaning B/S tv > Does acetone clean boards and other things as safely as alcohol? al > > Al Leatherman > 224 Rt. 46 > Mine Hill, NJ. 07803 > 973-361-5796 > WWW.ALS-TV.NET > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jeff Farnsworth" <jlfonz@xxxxxxxxx> > To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Sunday, June 15, 2003 11:38 AM > Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Paper towles for cleaning B/S tv > > > > I also use cleans pieces of paper cut into strips, but what I haven't > heard > > anyone mention is using acetone.
