My WaveTek measured the screen, as I said...I don't think the G2 is the 
problem...thanks guys.

My Digital meter has no problem reading it, but I suppose there is a lot of
cheapo DMM's being sold.
It's nice to have a good analog multimeter when needed
like my Simpson 260.
