I am sorry to tell you that unless Microsoft has a Works 5
reader ready for
download,
you will be forced to upgrade However, do not trust me,
better go to Microsoft
site and find out there.
If I were you I would write all my letters in Wordpad, which
is more than
enough for those purposes and you can save them as .doc or
.rtf, even .txt
and be
read Universe-wide. I do not remember what are the saving
options from works,
you should be able to save your work in .doc or .rtf, that
should fix your
problem too.
