I may be wrong but will the supply operate with a shorted vdr601. this
supply runs fine for almost an hour before Q601 an Q602 die from heat
exhaustion. also the 10 ohm resistor off the vdr is not open. but this unit
did have 2 bad Mylar caps.1 bad tantalum cap, 2 off value 22 ohm resistors
and one open 1.8 ohm 2 w resistor all on the primary side of the supply.
