[TechAssist] JVC AV27CM4 blue muting screen after 1sec of normal video

Audio, video, tuning, OSD, switching functions are apparently normal except
video mutes after about 1 sec. Suspect micro may not be getting sync return
and thinking it should mute video, but I have no manual on this one.
Same symptom on tuner and video input.
Does anyone have a manual? Anyone see this problem before or familiar with
the circuit that does the muting?
