[TechAssist] Mitsubishi Monitor TFW9105SKTKW (FCC# BGBTFW9105K) shorted Q503

I am working on a Mitsubishi Monitor Model# TFW9105SKTKW (FCC#BGBTF9105K).
Q503 (deflection drive transistor) has 170 ohms leakage & little green 3/4A
pico
fuse is open. The power supply voltages seem OK. I checked components in the
same circuit. Does this transistor just fail or is there likely to be a
reason for it?
