Hey Larry,

Just for your info, I'm certified on that printer. (as well as a couple of
dozen other HP DeskJet and Color LaserJet printers) Also, my company is a
ASC as well. The brush is just for dusting toner off of certain transport
areas. The corona wire (80 microns thick used for charging the drum) is
located in the cartridge. There should be another corona wire (60 Microns
thick used for transferring the image from the drum to the paper) located on
the paper path just under the area where the cartridge sits.

HTH.

I cleaned the dust out and tried another new toner unit.
and so far it is ok.
I don't have a brush for my HP4 any more. and cant find a
carona wire.
where is it? in the toner unit? what is the brush used for.
my instructions don't explain it good enough for me to
understand.
Thank you all, for the tips.
Larry
