Jerry, changing the customers remote to a service remote in this case
worked out just fine, I can turn the set on from the front panel power
button then press wake-up/sleep on the remote and the service menu pops
up with the number "2" in each corner, "8b1-0.16 A2" centered in the top
1/2 of picture and "09" in left center of lower 1/2. My problem is
figuring out how to navigate and make changes. Is there any possibility
you can email, snailmail, upload, fax, or whatever, the adjustment
section of the service manual? Maybe even the whole thing in case I need
to trouble shoot instead of adjust?
Thanks,
