Steve;It's in the SMPS cct.The centre pin goes to C612=330ufd/400vdc.I do all the monitor work for the call centre where this unit came from.This one has never been repaired before.ECG & NTE normally have there logo's stamped on there parts.This one has SEM on the top with the #2394 on the bottom.That's why I did not think it was a NTE part.I'm going to try a 12 amp 500vdc N-CHANNEL Mosfet & see what happens.Tks for your i/p.....
