From what I read about the Vault, you can use it off site, then sync your
changes back up, and also the Microsoft Dreamspark is just a licencing
program from Microsoft to give students (including those of FIRST) access to
Microsoft Products at no additional cost (in hopes that you will purchase
them later in life)
So the way it would work would be I install Windows Server 2008 R2, a system
that it runs on just fine, and make that the Vault server, and that 2008 R2
server would be acquired through Microsoft's Dreamspark licenceing program
I will look more into the vault, and you do not have to use it once it is
installed either
