Happy anniversary.  Sorry you had the break-down problems.  Bev and I just got
back from Manassas and the Bug-Out.  Mountain View AR, Monument Show and
Manassas all in 10 days.  About 4,200 miles in the Baja.  Did break down once;
lost the clutch cable and had to replace it in a field parked beside the road.
Did see one super interesting and rare bus; 1964 double door slider panel van.
One of only about 5 double door sliders in the world.  Also m-coded for the
rear window delete, so it is probably the only double door slider with this
option in the world.  Have some pictures when I have time.

We towed to Austin using our Hagerty 50 mile then used our new AAA to tow 200
miles home-then Steve changed the engine out in the afternoon- back to the
1600. Not sure yet what is wrong, Steve thinks the oil pump went out.
I like AAA except now I just have 100 miles but unlimited tows.
Oh and today is our 36th Anniv.- 36 years wow- we should have bought a VW bus
every year.

Thanks
Sharon

Hopefully Steve and Sharon and their bus made it back safely.  I noticed this

Does anyone have an update?
