Well I'd rather say I enjoy the best of both worlds instead : )
I drive a 1959 Bus for pleasure and a 1977 Bus daily. One of them I am never in
a hurry and the other I always am!

I go both ways too.  Bays and Splits are both fun!  What is wrong with that?

Now, now children. They are ALL Volkswagen at heart and part of one big happy
family. We should all get along and nurture each other and show pride in in
the differences that make us individual. Po-tato, Pa-tato; '59 air cooled bus,
2012 New Beetle with 2000 cc fuel injected diesel equipped with power boost
disc brakes A/C and heated seats. It's all semantics.

I do mind the shutting off while driving.  A couple times
when this has happened if I honk the horn in time the engine
                comes back to life.
