Grab the phone and CALL Ronnie at http://www.type2parts.com/ . Don't try to use the online catalog, it's not finished and the prices are seldom accurate. Don't email. His email box is so overflowing he misses quite a bit. Ronnie's Garage Old Volks Home of Arizona 2185 West Acoma Avenue Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86403 sales@xxxxxxxxxxxx Phone: (928) 680-7664 Give hime the year of your bus and ask what he reccomends. If he tells you that a seal *is* the best then that means he has installed one on his or a customer's bus and it worked the way it was supposed to. If he says "it is cheaper but it will work" it means, once again, he has installed one at some point. It may have required some custom trimming, or maybe even cutting it into several pieces then gluing it back together -- but he got it to work as an acceptable substitute for OEM German. "I don't like these but they're the cheapest" means you should probably drill a few drain holes if you choose to purchase those particular seals and try to "make them work".
