I don't forsee the cost of the shirts being any more than they were last year. We have a new supplier for shirts that let's us have last bracket pricing no matter what quantity we order. I think the "pocket t's" cost approx. $1.00 more. I just need the info to get started.

Denis next year and start this shirt stuff in April.

OK, let me make sure everyone (including me) understands what's going
on here.

Last year the company Mark works for owned the screen printing
equipment AND they had a custome place a LARGE order at just about
the same time that P.B shirts were coming up. So, Mark tagged our few
shirts onto their order and what we paid for in the end was the screen
set up and shirts as if we had ordered 5000+ shirts. Mark paid for the
shirts out of his own pocket, up front then waited to get his money back
from us as we bought them.

THIS YEAR. Marks company no longer the screen printing equipment
BUT he can still use it. Not much chance of a perfectly timed lasrge
customer order so the shirts themselves will probably cost 3 or 4 times
more than last year. Discounts usually apply only when ordering a full
case of each size you want.

AND -- Mark can't pay for that out of his own pocket.

He's trying to get a COUNT together as quickly as possible so that he
can determine what the actual cost per shirt will be. Then we'll find out
if someone else can step up with the up-front costs and wait for the
shirts to sell to recoup their cash.

So, he's taking orders but this is ONLY a "fact finding quest". If no-one
can front the money they may never be ordered.

I have a suggestion for the up-front money and a question that
may reduce cost a bit.

First the question: Pockets. There are several of us who insist on
Pocket T's (yes, we're smokers). Would anyone who orders a
non-pocket T object to having one with a pocket? By omitting the
non-pocket categories we increase the number of each size that is
requested with pockets and may reduce the price a bit. Maybe Mark
could screen the TCB logo on each pocket.

Money: If Mark can tell us what the MAXIMUM cost per shirt would be
then perhaps we could each prepay NOW. I can add a column to the
web page table and Mark can let me know when each person's money
arrives. I add it to the table so he doesn't have to keep track of it. If
the price drops due to the size of the order then we make change. I'll
volunteer to bring small bills for change and Mark can write me a check
for the total. We can pre-package each person's change in the bag with
their shirt(s). If Mark says they may cost $20/shirt we send him that
now. If they end up costing $10 then you get half back at the campout.

Anyway, food for thought, remember that order emails go to
gerald.psycoshirts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

The web page is up at:

http://phorce1.com/shirts.htm

After you've sent your email to gerald.psycoshirts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
wait until later that day or early the next and check that page to
make sure I've added you and it is correct. I'm updating the page
by hand so everyone that looks please check my math in the
*TOTAL* row every time you look.
