I've burned mine clean before with carb cleaner. If nothing else, its a lot of
fun, but if ya gotta go to the store anyway, might as well get new ones. Burn
the others though, cause it really is fun.

Damn not the brakes again! I have soaked them in brake clear before
and it seamed to work. With your luck and to be on the safe side
I'd replace them though. Are these brake cylinders you rebuilt
before? I replaced mine before the Classic 2 years ago and it sat
for 2 years and they still don't leak.

                [tcb] Hey, ya'll! Brakes question

My front driver?s side wheel is leaking
brake fluid and I am going to find the leak today and
re-build it. The shoes are covered in fluid, but are almost
brand new. I want to re-use them. I have heard that, when
soaked, they will never be good again. I am old enough to
remember my Dad covering them with gas and lighting them on
fire to ?clean? them. Anybody know of that or any way to
            clean them dry?
