I did that once in a Buick Electra 225 into a grape vineyard in San
Bernardino CA. It was the largest production car in the world at the time.
It was not intentional. I doubt I got that much air. I went to the car wash
and picked stones and sticks out of the engine compartment and put it back
in my parent's garage. They never knew.
Reminds me of jumping the railroad tracks on Sunset Ave. in San Antonio. My friend and I used to try and out-do each other - me in my bus and he in his diesel rabbit. My bus always won. ;-)
As I remember it, he tried it in a Renault Le Car he drove for a short while - until he broke the axles coming off a really good jump.
