HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Parents are sooooo stoopid. It makes me wonder that
they really knew most of the things we did, but were just too tired to deal
with it.
i lost control of my moms ford taurus when i was 17 and jumped a 3 foot ditch and came inches from hitting a tree and going off an embankment. drove the car to the carwash, hosed it off picked my mom up from work and told her the car is driving funny and it should probably be checked out. the next day i get a call at school my mom wanted to know exactly where all the red clay built up around the motor and transmission came from. i told her i have no idea. she asked me where i was from and i said i don't i was at home. she then said you wrecked the car and i want to know if anyone else was with you. i said no. she asked me what happened. i told her i swerved to miss a stick in the road and hit a wet spot in the road.
yea well what she never found out is i was doing 75 in a 35. needless to say the car is fine and still runs today. oh that happened like 7 years ago.

I did that once in a Buick Electra 225 into a grape vineyard in San Bernardino CA. It was the largest production car in the world at the time. It was not intentional. I doubt I got that much air. I went to the car wash and picked stones and sticks out of the engine compartment and put it back in my parent's garage. They never knew.

Reminds me of jumping the railroad tracks on Sunset Ave. in San Antonio. My friend and I used to try and out-do each other - me in my bus and he in his diesel rabbit. My bus always won. ;-)
As I remember it, he tried it in a Renault Le Car he drove for a short while - until he broke the axles coming off a really good jump.
