I think the "party-ers" and the "fogies" can work out a truce. There will have to be a quiet hour, maybe 11pm. No more middle of the night drag races, burn outs, cruises around the camp, or just plain old engine runs. Those could wait until day light hours. Even some of the "fogies" at the top of the hill didn't get much sleep. If the "party-ers" can respect the "fogies" that want to go bed before midnight, then the fogies might respect the party-ers who would like to sleep past 5:30 - 6 AM All said, Bonnie and I enjoyed the week end so much that if everything happened next year like this year, we would be back again. And again. and again... You can't please everyone and you sure can't make it perfect for everybody, but it doesn't get much better than this. THANKS Steve and Sharon for a wonderful weekend. _____ From: tcb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tcb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mark Sawyer Sent: Monday, April 24, 2006 3:38 PM To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tcb] Re: Duncan on the M/c Next time come to the top of the hill where it's nice and quiet. just have to put up with the worms falling out of the trees. j duncan <whocanduncan@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Man, this has really gone off thread. Is this your way of telling me a M/C has no business at a VW Classic? Afterall, I had more than one thumb nosed my way (Steve!), especially during the cruise (Paul!). Okay, here's an excuse: Freedom van Gogh was Freedom van Gogh-Not on Thursday night. It was only moisture in the ecu but I had more confidence on the bike than in the camper on Saturday's cruise. It was a great ride, whether in a VW or on a bike! BTW: We were camped in what is now known as "The Traingle O' Hostility." The "Party'ers" were on one point and the "Fogies" were on the other two points. And we were smack-dab in the middle. Party'ers drunk-arguing and Fogies bitchin' and callin' cops. Odd thing is, they were ALL amusing at 2AM. Hell, we were just chillin' and relaxin', ally to all. Yeah, that's what we get for not arriving on Thursday like we promised.
