That's the difference between the "good" elephant ears and the "bad" elephant
ears.  The bad ones vibrate like crazy.

I have the elephant ear mirrors. The experience I have had is they vibrate when
you are driving, so you can't see much even if adjusted properly. The "hinge
pins" on the arms are slightly smaller in diameter than the stock pins causing
the doors to sag slightly. If you are not very careful installing the arms in
the hinges, it is easy to screw up the threads on the bottom of the arms.

they came from a guy at the OCTO meet in 2004 .They were made in Japan ,and
weren't a real good casting so they died out pretty fast.Have seen them a time
or two in pictures but never another pair in person.I think I paid 175.00 .

Time to upgrade my mirrors on the 67.  Basically, my mirrors are worthless
unless you like to see cars as they pass instead of before.  Any good or bad
experiences out there with mirrors?  I found these

Paul, what kind of mirrors do you have on the Zone?
