You can wire it through the flasher with a couple of zener diodes.

The two prong one is pretty straight forward.  I'm wondering what to do with
the 4 prong emergency flasher.  Maybe just avoid having an emergency?

Let me get to a wiring diagram. You will have to replace the flasher.

It is the original wiring harness.  I just replaced the bulbs and generator.

Subject: [tcb] 12v Wiring question

I'm converting my '65 bus to 12v.  I have it running and driving and the
headlights working but I need a little help with turn signals and flashers.

There are two relays in the system, one has two prongs and the other has 4
prongs.  I'm not sure which one does what.  Does the two prong one get replaced
with a 552 flasher thingy?  What does the other get replaced with?

Thanks,
Dan
