You would need their setting sbut you can only use that access in their home or the vacinity. They will have a key they will need to let you have.

Hi Karen,

Yes, you will need to do that, if you are using Orange's network to retrieve
your Email.

All the best

Hi Karen.

who are you with and what are you using as your outgoing mail settings? Often you will need to use your mobile provider's smtp settings as
normally
the smtp server your home internet provider uses will not let you connect
to
it unless you are connected to it.

As an example, I am with Vodafone and while I use my plusnet server mail.plus.net as the pop server imap.plus.net for sending I have to use
the
vodafone server send.vodafone.net.

Please do not hesitate to shout if this needs further clarification!

Graham

Subject: [talks-uk] setting up email on an n95

hi all

at last i've finally gotten round to setting uyp my email on my nokia
n95. it works great, i can download and read messages but when i go to
send one it repeatedly asks me for my email password and then i get a
message saying sending failed. i've checked my outgoing server settings
and they are correct, the outgoing server details. any ideas what the
problem could be??

thanks in advance.
