Hello David,
Until about a couple of months ago, each person installing Loadstone
on a 3rd edition phone was able to get a self-signed certificate for
Loadstone. Then the producers of Symbian changed the rules, which
has effectively brought this process to a halt for new Loadstone users.
The good news is that, according to a message from one of the
developers on the Loadstone e-mail list, a signed version of
Loadstone should be available from the beginning of May.
I have a number of e-mails on the subject from the Loadstone list and
can forward any of them to you off list if you are interested.
