Hi Jenny
Just listening to News and all about Rider Cup being
rained off!!!! It was a very soggy London yesterday
evening.
I would press select when you hear edit as that then
makes it possible for you to write in to the text box. You might also like to join the B-F-B which is blind face
book where the members discuss all issues related to
facebook.

Eleanor, good morning, from rainy, soggy west wales!
Just reading your email reply there, I'm wondering if
you can help me too? I have an e72. I have been a talks
user for years, and the screen is all but useless to me.
I use cursor mode words, and have no problems ... I hope
... but thus far I haven't used the mobile internet, or
wi-fi, but that's because I can't? I can't seem to get
the hang of it! I have managed to get my hub's WEP key
onto the phone, but the applications, say, for facebook,
are not allowing me to type at all? they ask, say, for
email address, or password, but just say *text*, and
don't allow any typing. Is this because they need the
cursor mode original in order to work? I hhope you can
help with this, or perhaps someone reading this can!
Kindest regards

Jennie Macaulay

You need to have cursor in origional mode. Do this vy
pressing Talks key and then hold down number 2. Not soft
key 2. Do this repeatedly until you hear Talks say
cursor mode is origional. The other cursor modes are
words and letters. Then with your e-mail or text open
press soft key one which is options. Arrow down through
the list until you hear automatic find on. By selecting
this you toggle it to automatic find off. Now what I do
in that situation is to close the text message or e-mail and open it again. Now you will land directly on
the link or link. Select it if you want to call the
number or open the link. If you want to add the phone
number to your contacts then press soft key 1 and arrow
down through the options until you reach the desired
one. Same for saving the link. -original message- Subject: [talks-uk] help with calling up & opening links
